Recap: Llano Yellowjackets vs. Ingram Moore Warriors
The Llano Yellowjackets waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down Ingram Moore 60-45. Given Llano's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Ingram Moore is ranked 930th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Llano's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Fitz Kennedy, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Charlie White, who scored 14 points.
Llano's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Ingram Moore, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.
Llano will be playing at home against Blanco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ingram Moore, they will head out on the road to square off against Comfort at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Comfort knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Ingram Moore likes a good challenge.
