Lucas Forker leads a balanced attack to beat Countryside Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bridgman, the New Buffalo Bison were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They secured a 55-49 W over Countryside Academy. For New Buffalo, this counts as revenge for the 59-21 loss Countryside Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.
New Buffalo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Forker, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Elliott Bourne, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
New Buffalo's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Countryside Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
New Buffalo will be playing at home against Covert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Covert is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Countryside Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Michigan Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Michigan Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Saturday.
