After a string of nine wins, Alburnett's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lisbon Lions by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.

Alburnett's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lisbon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
