Volleyball Recap: Carson's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Carson waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Gardena Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carson was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-10.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Gardena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carson is set to square off against their familiar foe Banning at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gardena will face off against rival Narbonne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
