Softball Recap: Broadway's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Broadway had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Alleghany Cougars get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Gobblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Broadway and bumps their season record up to 19-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Alleghany, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.

Looking ahead, Broadway will take on Turner Ashby on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Gobblers surely won't give up without a fight. Alleghany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
