Baseball Recap: Greenhill Sets Scoring Season-High Against Royse City

Greenhill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 10-5 to the Royse City Bulldogs. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Greenhill saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Watt, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Sean Millimet was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Greenhill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Royse City, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coming up, Greenhill will head out to square off against Ennis at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ennis' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Greenhill's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Royse City, they will take on Adams in a tournament on Friday.
