Softball Recap: Lewis County Panthers vs. Riverside Panthers

Lewis County put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Riverside get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The seven-run effort marked Lewis County's lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The result came thanks to Brailey Carroll's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Clara Tanner was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
