Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carthage, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for Carthage against Jasper when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 58-14 victory. In that matchup, Carthage amassed a halftime lead of 44-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
