Carthage is a perfect 3-0 against Jasper since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Carthage will head out to take on Jasper at 7:30 p.m. Carthage will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Carthage was the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over Chapel Hill. The score was all tied up 28-28 at the break, but Carthage was the (much) better team in the second half.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Kj Edwards and Benny Smith. Edwards rushed for 180 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.0 yards per carry while Smith rushed for 134 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. Smith's longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Carthage was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 314 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chapel Hill only rushed for 109.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Jasper's offense. The contest between the Bulldogs and Beaumont United didn't end well, with the Bulldogs falling 14-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carthage, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for Carthage against Jasper when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 58-14 victory. In that matchup, Carthage amassed a halftime lead of 44-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
