A-6 Southeast (6 Man) recap October 8, 2013

Liberty/Stratton extended the longest winning streak in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this week by beating Flagler, 47-6. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Eagles.

Eads took down Cotopaxi 58-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dylan Dixon ran for 182 yards during the win.

Dixon was a passing and rushing force as the Eagles topped the Pirates.

Robert Miller was a key player and the best on defense this week as Eads defeated Cotopaxi. He recorded 1 fumble and grabbed 1 sack.

Dixon was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 182 yards on 15 carries as Dustin Uhland's team bested Cheraw. Teammate Blaine Winder added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.

The Eagles' David Mettee and Eldringhoff have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-8 quarterback Mettee has thrown for 607 yards this season, while Eldringhoff has 25 catches for 318 yards. Kyle English from Liberty/Stratton leads the league in rushing with 634 yards.

A big matchup in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this week will be when Toby Kechter's team takes on Kit Carson. The Eagles are currently in first, while the Wildcats are in third.
