Volleyball Recap: Beaver Island Comes Up Short

The Beaver Island Islanders came up short against the Mackinaw City Comets on Friday and fell 2-0. The Islanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Beaver Island's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Mackinaw City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-16-4.

Mackinaw City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against North Michigan Christian Academy on the 31st. Hopefully Beaver Island paid attention to the Comets' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Comets at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
