Union won the last time they faced John Battle and things went their way on Friday too. The Bears had just enough and edged out the Trojans 42-39. The 42-point effort marked the Bears' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Union and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for John Battle, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-48 defeat against Tennessee on the 10th. As for John Battle, they will challenge Ridgeview at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
