Basketball Game Preview: Kosciusko County HomeSchool vs. Community Baptist Christian Cougars

Kosciusko County HomeSchool will take on the Community Baptist Christian Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Kosciusko County HomeSchool had to suffer through a 79-37 loss at the hands of Kokomo HomeSchool. Kosciusko County HomeSchool hasn't had much luck with Kokomo HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Community Baptist Christian entered their tilt with HomeSchool Resource Center last Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Patriots.

Community Baptist Christian's win came from a few key players Kosciusko County HomeSchool will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Colton Aurand, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Sam Maller was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Community Baptist Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Kosciusko County HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Community Baptist Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
