Soccer Recap: Herndon Takes a Loss

Herndon was the 1-0 winner over Wakefield when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Herndon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wakefield, they pushed their record up to 3-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Herndon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Langley on the 3rd. As for Wakefield, they will face off against Chantilly at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Chantilly will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wakefield surely won't give up without a fight.
