Flag Football Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

The Centennial Huskies will take on the Roosevelt Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Centennial's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four games, but Monday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Saturday, Centennial was able to grind out a solid victory over Poly, taking the game 13-6.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Centennial's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jaylene Sangenito and Taliyah Miller, who racked up six sacks between them. Miller has been hot for a while, having posted at least one sack the last 13 times she's played.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against King by a score of 24-14 on Monday.

Centennial's record now sits at 13-14. As for Roosevelt, their record is now 6-9.

Centennial was dealt a bruising 38-6 defeat at the hands of Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
