Preview: DRW College Prep Cheetahs vs. La Salette Academy Lions
The DRW College Prep Cheetahs will head out on the road to square off against the La Salette Academy Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (DRW College Prep has four straight victories, La Salette Academy has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though ITW David Speer Academy scored an imposing 57 points last Monday, DRW College Prep still came out on top. DRW College Prep took their matchup against ITW David Speer Academy 65-57.
Meanwhile, La Salette Academy lost to Marshall at home by a decisive 45-29 margin on Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, La Salette Academy had strong showings from Charles Prather, who scored nine points along with three steals, and Elijah Hall, who scored nine points.
DRW College Prep pushed their record up to 13-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for La Salette Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.
