Channelview won against Atascocita last Friday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Channelview Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the King Panthers, sneaking past 2-1. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Panthers are ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Channelview and bumps their season record up to 9-4-4. As for King, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-3 record this season.

Coming up, Channelview will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Summer Creek at 7:30 p.m. As for King, they will head out to take on Atascocita at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Atascocita's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
