Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mardela). They never let the Wicomico Indians get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 14 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mardela pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Wicomico, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Mardela will head out to challenge Cambridge-South Dorchester at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wicomico, they will host North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
