Softball Recap: Central Dragons vs. Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders, sneaking past 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won four in a row.
Riley Peterson spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
