It's playoff time, and Alleman had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Morrison Mustangs 12-2 on Friday. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Alleman got a massive performance out of Will Bowers, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles Bowers has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jackson Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Alleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Alleman's win bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Morrison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Alleman will face off against Newman Central Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Morrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
