Uvalde is a perfect 7-0 against Hondo since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will take on the Hondo Owls at 7:00 p.m. Uvalde is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Uvalde played against Pearsall on Friday and won via forfeit.

Hondo is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Floresville just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 5-0 to the Tigers/Jaguars. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Owls struggled afterwards.

Uvalde pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven matches. As for Hondo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Everything went Uvalde's way against Hondo in their previous matchup back in February, as Uvalde made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Uvalde since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
