Chaparral had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Mountain View on Tuesday. The Firebirds put the hurt on the Mountain Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Firebirds as they're now sitting on three straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chaparral took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.
