Volleyball Game Preview: Gridley Bulldogs vs. Oroville Tigers + How To Watch

Gridley has gone 9-1 against Oroville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Gridley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Gridley got the win against Corning by a conclusive 3-0.

Gridley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-16.

Gridley can attribute much of their success to Rebecca Solis, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Solis a new career-high.

Gridley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Oroville took on Live Oak on Thursday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 18-25, 25-9.

Oroville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Gridley, their win bumped their record up to 21-10.

Gridley took their victory against Oroville when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
