Softball Game Preview: Schenck Wolverines vs. Stearns Minutemen

Schenck hasn't had much luck against Stearns recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wolverines will welcome the Minutemen at 4:30 p.m. Schenck is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

If Schenck beats Stearns with 16 runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Wolverines blew past Lee Academy 16-1 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stearns unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Mattanawcook by a score of 5-4.

Schenck's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Stearns, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
