Genesee Area - Red recap October 8, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Genesee Area - Red this week, Hill-McCloy beat Johnson 39-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Rams.
Durand scaled the state rankings by moving to 440 from 473 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Railroaders were able to move up by topping Perry 43-27.
Johnson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tony Saldona has thrown for 506 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Isaiah Collins has 16 catches for 258 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Beecher takes on Hill-McCloy. The Buccaneers are currently in third, while Dennnis Reinhart's team is in first.
Durand made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,319 from 12,066. The improvement was the result of a 43-27 victory over the Ramblers last week.
