Baseball Recap: Romulus Comes Up Short

If Romulus was riding high fresh off their 16-2 takedown of Thurston last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Annapolis Cougars on Tuesday, falling 12-3. The Eagles have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Romulus now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Annapolis, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Coming up, Annapolis will head out to challenge Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Romulus will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' game: after the Cougars face off against the Falcons, they'll take on Romulus again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
