It was a good run, but John Paul II unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Boswell Pioneers, falling 10-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Cardinals, who until this contest were averaging 2.88 runs allowed.

Reagan McGraw made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Abby VanVolkenburgh was another key player, getting four hits from her four at bats.
