Softball Recap: Start Spartans vs. Waite Indians
Start put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Waite Indians with a sharp 16-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Start considering their one-run performance the match before.
Hannah Ri Hards was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Libby Neuschwanger, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Start's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Waite, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
