Yantis' defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Cumby, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Yantis skirted past Cumby 62-59 when the teams last played on Saturday. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Cumby's Chett Vaughan, who posted 30 points and eight rebounds.
