Basketball Recap: Ridgway Drops Season-High Score on Kane

Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kane Wolves. One positive for the Elker, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Kane's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keller Chamberlain, who posted 13 points. The dominant performance also gave Chamberlain a new career-high in assists (three). Brock Wensel was another key player, putting up five points.

Ridgway's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Kane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Ridgway has already played their next matchup, a 62-31 defeat against Cameron County on the 31st. Kane has also already played their next contest (against Smethport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
