Recap: Greenbrier Wolfpack vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers
The Greenbrier Wolfpack had to endure a 19-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Bradwell Institute 32-29. The win was just what Greenbrier needed coming off of a 56-7 defeat in their prior game.
Greenbrier can attribute much of their success to Cole Trupp, who rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Trupp was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.
Despite the loss, Bradwell Institute still got an impressive performance from Christopher Garrett, who threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards on only 11 carries. Bryant Thomas did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 75 receiving yards.
Greenbrier's victory bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Bradwell Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Greenbrier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bradwell Institute also has no future games currently scheduled.
