Soccer Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Seymour finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 6-1 to the Cocke County Fighting Cocks. Seymour have struggled against Cocke County recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cocke County, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, Seymour and Cocke County will both be playing Austin-East the next time they take the pitch. The Fighting Cocks will host the Roadrunners at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
