Soccer Recap: Ponaganset Comes Up Short

Ponaganset lost against Cranston East back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chieftains fell just short of the Thunderbolts by a score of 3-2. Ponaganset have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Andre Mendes and Adam McEntee scored both of Ponaganset's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Ponaganset's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Cranston East, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

Coincidentally, Ponaganset and Cranston East will both be playing Juanita Sanchez Complex the next time they take the pitch. The Thunderbolts will head out to face the Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Chieftains will host them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
