After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way East was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Loyola Academy Ramblers with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering the Griffins have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln-Way East's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Loyola Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Coincidentally, Lincoln-Way East and Loyola Academy will both be playing Libertyville the next time they take the field. The Ramblers will host the Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Griffins will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
