Soccer Game Preview: Poteet vs. Uvalde

Poteet is 0-8 against Uvalde since February of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Poteet Aggies will host the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 7:00 p.m.

Poteet is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Friday. They lost 8-0 to Floresville.

Meanwhile, Uvalde kept a clean sheet against Hondo on Friday. Everything went their way against the Owls as they made off with a 5-0 victory. It was an even better day for Lino Rodriguez as he scored three goals for his team.

The win made it two in a row for Uvalde and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matchups. As for Poteet, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
