For the second straight game, Sunset will face off against Jesuit. The Apollos will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. Sunset is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Sunset is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: Jesuit, who was ranked 14th at the time (Sunset was ranked 24th). The Apollos lost 10-2 to the Crusaders on Tuesday. The Apollos' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Sunset saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Heaphy, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that Heaphy has hit this season.

Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
