Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Paul Central). They snuck past the Camden Patriots with a 68-64 win on Tuesday. This was payback for the Minutemen, who suffered a 56-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. Paul Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cynara Easley led the charge by putting up 21 points. Those 21 points gave Easley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mireya Jefferson, who posted 18 points.

St. Paul Central's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Camden, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

The future could be bright for both St. Paul Central and Camden: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. St. Paul Central will look to extend Robbinsdale Cooper's four-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Camden will try to hand Roosevelt their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
