Volleyball Recap: Elizabethtown Comes Up Short

Elizabethtown was the 2-0 winner over Ephrata when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell just short of the Mountaineers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elizabethtown took Ephrata into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 19-25, 22-25, 16-14.

Elizabethtown's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Ephrata, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Elizabethtown has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Northern York on the 3rd. Ephrata has also already played their next matchup (against Warwick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
