Soccer Recap: Newton Comes Up Short

Newton lost against Kapaun Mt. Carmel back in May of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Railroaders lost 6-0 to the Crusaders. Newton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Newton will challenge Valley Center on Tuesday. Valley Center will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Newton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they will face off against Saint Thomas Aquinas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
