Basketball Recap: Boys' Home Takes a Loss

Boys' Home played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Victory Baptist Academy Saints and fell 82-33. The Hilltoppers have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Landon Cormican, who went 9 for 13 en route to 20 points and six steals for Victory Baptist Academy. Another player making a difference was Owen Giles, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 12 points.

Boys' Home's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Victory Baptist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
