Basketball Recap: Lennard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lennard lost against Leto back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Longhorns fell 72-61 to the Falcons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (58), the Longhorns still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Lennard lost, don't look at Moises Abreu. Despite the final result, he shot 58% from beyond the arc to rack up 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Bryant, who went 5-for-9 en route to 10 points and five boards.

Lennard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Leto, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Coming up, Lennard will challenge Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Leto, they will take on Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.88 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
