 Ingomar was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell just short of the Bruce Trojans by a score of  7-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ingomar of the  7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March.
 For Bruce's part,  Dallas Campbell and  Lexi Bowling did most of the damage at the plate:  Campbell  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 1-for-3, while  Bowling  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Summer Corbitt, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Ingomar's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Bruce, their victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-7-1.
 Ingomar will take on East Union at 5:00  p.m.  in their first game  on Monday. East Union will roll in looking for their  14th straight  win, something Ingomar surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bruce, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  12-2  defeat vs. West Union on the 13th.
