Basketball Recap: Palm Valley Skates Past Noli Indian with Ease

There's no place like home for Palm Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Noli Indian Braves 58-14. The FIREBIRDS have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palm Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matteo Lam, who went 11 of 12 on his way to 22 points along with eight assists and six steals. Lam is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 23 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Alex Ratner, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Palm Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Palm Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Noli Indian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Palm Valley nor Noli Indian have any future games scheduled.
