A Season-Best  Performance from  Xavier Perez Leads Organ Mountain over Clovis
 On Friday, Organ Mountain got the W thanks in part to  Xavier Perez playing the best football he has all season. Perez rushed for 167 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 153 yards and a touchdown.
 For the season,  Perez  has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 95.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 9.9  passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 58.9  passer rating.

Big Game from Rios As Centennial Won 51-12
  Rudy Rios was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to seven on Friday. Rios was dynamite, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also catching a touchdown.
 Centennial pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Rios and Centennial are taking a road trip to  square off against Organ Mountain  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Kason Perez Goes Supernova in Carlsbad Victory
  Kason Perez was a major factor in Carlsbad's  win over Alamogordo on Friday. Alamogordo had no answer to  Perez  as he threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns.
 The  victory  got Carlsbad back to even at 4-4. Perez and Carlsbad will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Las Cruces at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

Jordan Lucas Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 On Friday, Centennial got the W thanks in part to  Jordan Lucas playing the best football he has all season. Lucas rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards.
 On the season,  Lucas  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 62.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 34  receiving yards per game.

Davis Posts Huge Game in  51-12  Victory
  Zaiden Davis was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hobbs had no answer to  Davis  as he rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
 For the season,  Davis  has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 112.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had 11  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 19.
