Currituck County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 82-57 margin over the Perquimans Pirates. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 25, 2024 (when they won 82-3).

Currituck County had a senior duo take command as Jamie Dance dropped a triple-double with 28 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists and Tristan Peterson dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. Dance is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ricky Skinner, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals.
