Chugiak and Wasilla pushed the score to 19-9 the last time they played Wasilla, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Tyler Cage was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Chugiak's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Wasilla, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5-1.
