Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask London). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Banquete Bulldogs a 19-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

London pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Banquete, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Coming up, London will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Banquete, they will square off against Santa Gertrudis Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Gertrudis Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Banquete's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
