Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Columbia's offense. They came up short against the Purvis Tornadoes on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Purvis, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

While Columbia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
