Softball Recap: Clio Comes Up Short

While it was Clio who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Goodrich who put up more. The Mustangs fell 5-1 to the Martians. Surprisingly, this marked the Mustangs' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Clio's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Goodrich, their win was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Coincidentally, Clio and Goodrich will both be playing Owosso the next time they take the field. The Martians will head out to face the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Mustangs will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
