Basketball Recap: St. James Comes Up Short

St. James came up into this matchup off a tough 25-point loss two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Steelville Cardinals by a score of 55-52 on Friday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 74-43.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Steelville, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.
