Volleyball Recap: Clear Falls Starts off Right with Win over Santa Fe

Clear Falls gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Santa Fe Indians. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 18-25, 25-21.

Shirley Pingel paced Clear Falls' offense, picking up ten kills. Pingel got some help from Delaney Duckett and her 14 assists. Riley Martinsen controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Clear Falls will challenge McNeil at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Fe, they will be taking part in a tournament against Kinkaid at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
